That is my biggest gripe when it comes to google maps on the touch pro. I think it's counter intuitive to use it if it doesn't have text to speech, turn by turn directions. Who wants to sit there and figure out where you need to go on this tiny screen, tiny in the sense of using it as a GPS device while driving.

Good find nonetheless. I use google maps whenever I need to find out where something is and use the Sprint Navigation to get me there.

i've always agreed here, if they ever added voice prompts ect I'd be totally satisfied! what gives?:scratch:

how do you get the gps to work i have the com settings set to COM 4 in both google and under settings in my phone also have location turned on please help me get this working

That is both cool and creepy. I searched my godparent's address and when it loaded in streetview, there's a view w/my godparents' garage up showing the car (license plate in view) and my godfather pushing his mower. Google really should airbrush these kinds of things out. I did find that a lot of the views are old, as routes that I took that once upon a time were under construction have long been finished for over a year, but Street View shows unfinished roads. But, this is definitely progress.

Anyone have any luck making a working oem for this yet? The one I made is throwing default.hv and user.hv errors from the rgu file.

Damn cool. But I had a problem after install. Worked once, then knocked out all GPS. Couldnt get any locks. Had to re-install Valhalla cab to get all my GPS apps working again.
