APP store for ppc680 windows mobile

I want to know if there is there a program like the app store that the iphone has but for windows mobile. or maybe a site that hav a lot of different apps

Yes, it is called PPC GEEKS!!! and it ROCKS. there are a million apps on this site.

Not quite the Appstore... sometime it takes a bit of time to search for it but it's there.

Also PPC geeks is more of a tweaks forum... not necessarily an App store. Plus most of the stuff is FREE here.

Although, the APP store is quite impressive.

Unfortunately I don't think any of those sites really come close to the App store. The App store is simply a new phenomenon that is unlikely to be matched by any Windows Mobile site. I don't own an iphone and I don't plan on getting one... but that is just a reality.

Just on a personal note, just last night I briefly exchanged phones with a friend with an iphone. It was one of those friendly comparisons and test drives.
He marveled at my ability to tether and use my phone as wireless router. He also thought it was cool how I could tweak so many different aspects of the OS.

I marveled at the sheer number of Apps he had on his phone. He said that was the best thing about the iphone. He said that literally hundreds of new Apps come out each week with most Free or costing only $.99. An man, the games that he has! I just hope a few get ported over.

You should try www.pocketpcfreeware.mobi for freeware.

Or try the mobihand software store @ www.mobihand.com/mobile. That is probably as close to the app store as you can get..

Is it me or does everyone else think that PPC apps are expensive!

I think people are much better off with just trolling PPCgeeks, XDA developers... but unfortunately it's not really an app store.
