PocketPC to Replace my Zune?? Help me out

Alright ive gotten a little acustomed to using orb and enjoy it right now.
BUT, i think i wanna take it a step further and figure out a seamless way to access my music anywhere with easy controls, album art, shuffle capabilities, and one hand operation.

anyone have any ideas so far?
any frontends that can take advantage of orbs capability but minimizing the need to shuffle around folders with the stylus and trying to pick songs, etc.

I have an aux adapter in my car currently running a zune, and i would love to just plug the ppc up and use that to stream and access my files from home!
that would probably incur alot of bandwidth usage over sprints network and i dont know if i'd get in trouble for that.. lol

if anyones in the same situation looking to relieve a little complication with on the road music streaming.. feel free to toss around some ideas.

EDIT: i just tried lobstertunes.. close but no cigar. It required an install of media encoder, a service running in the background(ive already got orb running dont want anything else), and automatically put the cached streams into the ext_rom and not my storage card. I couldnt figure out how to switch to the card. It looks to be a great piece but didnt have a start or stop button for the player, "eject" etc.. kinda cumbersome.

The closet I got to something that you are looking for is using Orb 2.0 and Pocket Player with the Orb plugin. In order for me to be able to access my files that orb had outside of my local network, I had to set up a VPN server using OpenVPN.

Here is the thread:

And here is a picture (more in the thread):

I do hope that the plugin can be improved so that setting up a VPN server would not be required. It was a bit of a pain... plus pre-buffering/caching other tracks would be nice.

thanks for the link and tip UTSA, imma give this a whirl

pat, i read "4$ a month" and i closed out.. lol.. thanks though!

ive talked with the guys at lobstertunes and ive presented to them several bugs for them to work out.. i hope they can clean it up a bit. They also mentioned maybe in the future they'll do away with the service process running..

Mercora charges per month? Sorry I didn't know that. I beta tested it a while back...
