With the release of 1.0 this app is no longer freeware... I'm considering ceasing the updates to this thread unless people still want hear about the pay releases.

the cab attached is the last free version which has MINIMAL differences from the pay version. enjoy!

i have been messing with this for about 30 mins now...i notice that once u "X" out of the program...it wont let u go back into it without a soft reset...anyone else notice this? any reason for this?

hey nautica how r u getting this to work...i have a version of TCPMP installed along with .net frame 3.5 and it wont let me play any video from anysite says i need a video player...

in tcpmp you have to make sure that the proper formats are selected under settings > file associations. i usually just check off everything except for image files so that they open thru tcpmp. if you still have issues after trying that, i'll upload all of the codecs ect i have, but they should already be included.

anyone know how to play vp6 vids? a long with that question, anyone having trouble using tcpmp? i installed it on my touch pro and when i try to run it it crashes. and completely unrelated, i have tfl3d config, and its working, but if i try to update to the latest version if i try to launch it it just crashes

thats the one I use and it even plays those ones that normally lock up. Although they still don't play correctly you don't have to do the soft reset thing anymore.

CorePlayer v1.3.0 seems to work the best and has the best video quality in my opinion using the Qtv setting. Also I have not been able to get the higher quality (FLV4) to play correctly on any player, Video codec On2VP6 is not supported by Coreplayer, and plays like crap on any TCPMP player. If anybody has gotten the On2VP6 codec(FLV4) to play Better than 1 frame every 5 seconds please share. Otherwise so far Coreplayer v1.3.0 seems to be the best choice along with .netCFv3.5 to use W.V.D. and plays all normal quality video perfectly. Just my opinion.
-Be sure to check off m3u box in file accosiations.

Im having a few problems. Don't know if it's the program or TCPMP. Sometimes when I play a video(streaming) it will load and start but will never play. If I try another video, it won't play now and I have to meet reset for it to work normally again. Can anyone help?

yeah this has been an ongoing issue with the app... but sometimes i've also found that i wasnt giving the video enough time to load up.

way better then vtap. you can download videos and have a choice of what format to view them in. some are mp4,flv,3gp

I download this for the 1st time today and I must say I'm highly impressed! Download was fast and Quality A+ on my coreplayer! A must have for all pda phones

I don't think it's BC I don't give enough time to load. I've sat for a good 5 minutes before for it to load but it never does play. When a video loads up it starts to play but then around 2 minutes it will stop(like it's loading) and won't start to play again.

this app runs nice my 800w and loving the features to be able to actually download the vids to a storage card .. the one i dowloaded is .18 nice post !

This doesn't blow vtap away, it is different than vtap. Both are essentials to me.

I can find things in vtap faster, as well vtap does the wikipedia search (my bar bet winning ap of choice), and vtap is more reliable on more devices. However wvd will play vids from more sources, and at a higher res.

Which is better an apple or an orange?

The pay version includes a free version.
You just have an 8-second countdown whenever you want to stream or download and you get damn reminders to activate everywhere you go. I'm tempted to send the guy $15 because I've gotten at least that much pleasure out of this app. But I don't like some of the restrictions in the contract terms: Only good on current PPC. Only good for one year. Not friendly...
Also, like Nautica says, not that much changed from last free version. For example, hardly any new channels. :(
