AVG reports QXDM as a Trojan when I downloaded.

Sounds like maybe you have not installed the HTC Modem drivers on your PC. Once you have the drivers installed on PC, then put the phone in DMR mode(##778# or whatever is appropriate for your carriers model) and attach to usb on pc. I hope this helps, Also, I have had issues connecting when not using the oem cable.

Re: QPST and QXDM for diamond/Touch Pro

Plug your phone in and let it stay on AS, fire up DM on the phone(##diag#) and wait for the drivers to install by windows or download them if you need, open device manager in windows and find your phone usually under com or serial ports listed as qc diag port or something and find what port it's listed on, fire up QPST, set it to that port @ 38000bps and hit connect and then read. VOILA c'est fini

Edit: such a burnout, that's for cdma workshop ... For qpst connect your phone, go to control panel, open ports, select your htc dev, change the com and disable/enable then load qpst

What I'm missing is how to actually change your MSL with this prog. I have my current msl, I can connect to the phone and read data in this and cdma workshop, I think if I was using a regged cdma workshop 3.4.1 I wouldn't be having this problem but I keep seeing snips about how qpst can do it on google and when I enter the forum that's being linked it's usually a bunch of people that can't even get their phone connected ^^

Updated with a newer version of QPST. Build date on here is Sept 18 2008, the other QPST i have on there was build in Jan 31 2008

So it is 7 months newer. SO everyone enjoy this one.

Ok people, i'm a litte bit confused at this point:

So... by using this two programs, i can basically do EVERYTHING that CDMA workshop 3.4.1 can do?

in my understanding, using cdma workshop 3.4.0 (and up) is the possible way to edit the ME*D or pE*N in the touch pro or touch diamond by software
