Skyfire Build 7927

new update to skyfire, this time around its...

- alot snappier, tap-linking is a little more responsive although sometimes you still have to tap twice on a link to open.
- Account management has been embedded now, so instead of the app recognizing your esn or phone number or whatever and then returning your saved bookmarks.. you now have to sign in to retrieve your bookmarks.
- zooming in and out is finally fixed and easier to use, much like opera mini now
- website loading has increased dramatically, although after a few pages scrolling down the dreaded checkerboxes still appear constantly.
- still cant access most of my secured websites like my bank.. but considering the "risks" of using this software for such tasks, is just that.. a risk that should be avoided.
- VGA is supported now as well.

unfortunately, theres still no side scroll bar, and it doesnt have that fluid auto scroll like opera mobile has.

i havent found a changelog, but these are what ive noticed so far.

Yeah VGA is working but it doesn't look like they've optimized it for VGA devices at all. Zoomed out its very hard to read, much more than it should be me thinks

Definitely not optimized for VGA, mine is often blurry and headlines are often fuzzy. I still like this browser though and I'm glad it finally works on my Diamond. Hopefully optimization follows.

well you have to change the settings and make sure u uncheck the smartfit option and for the people who said its not vga it is VGA supported and you can access secured websites like your bank log in and all of that. It has been tried by the testers along with me.

no need to start another thread there was already a thread about this earlier...http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...hlight=skyfire
