internet sharing on the mac - your device unexpectedly disconnected.
Does anyone else have trouble doing Bluetooth PAN Internet sharing? My internet ALWAYS disconnects REALLY quickly after I connect and I have to reconnect multiple times before I get sick of reconnecting.
I'm getting this error on my Mac in both 10.4 and 10.5: "Your device unexpectedly disconnected. Make sure it is turned on and in range." I'm trying to see a pattern but sadly, I do not. Google Maps seems to freak out my connection most of the time. As soon as I have it load some maps in Google, it will 9 out of 10 times disconnect me pretty quickly. When my internet connection sits idle, I do not get disconnected. What is going on and how can I fix this? |

As I stated in the first post, the exact error is:
"Your device unexpectedly disconnected. Make sure it is turned on and in range." |

now i'm getting another error!
"Failed to open a connection to the network service. Your device may have reached its maximum number of supported network connections." This error is false because I do briefly get a network connection before the connection is disconnected followed by this error message. For the last couple hours, I've been getting the other error I stated. |

Works fine for me using wmwifi, on BT and Wifi, so I dunno. I'll try BT through ICS later.

This problem seems to be exclusive to OS X and any WM6.0 or WM6.1 ICS. I've had the same problem with my older PPC-6700 too, but I'm now experiencing this with my new TP.
