Two Things I Am Looking For
 

I am hoping to pick the brains here at PPCGeeks. I need help finding two pieces of software. Since you guys have been using PPCs longer than me and with the accumulated experience here, some good can come of this request.

First off, I would like to find an RSS reader with OPML import and a today screen display/plugin/item.

Second, I need a today screen plugin that is simply two buttons, one that turns Wifi on/off with one click, and one that turns Blutooth on/off in one click.

I am running Windows 6.1 Pro touchscreen, AT&T tilt (HTC Kaiser/TyTN II) and using HTC Home on my today screen. Plugins for HTC Home are welcome.

I was using pRSS Reader, but it doesn't want to update automatically.

Any help is appreciated.

SPB Insight is nice and has a good today plugin but it also does not update automatically except when you use active sync. I use RSS Hub that came with my touch pro, it updates automatically and has a today plugin, but it only shows how many new feeds you have, etc.

Not sure about the bluetooth, wifi button....

I know there's a toggle out there for both bt and wifi, search around a bit. I'll see if i can locate em.

There is definitely a BT toggle, but it never worked right for me with my S9 Motorola stereo headset. Sometimes I would turn it on & nothing would happen. Other times, it would tell me "bluetooth was off" while it was connected & working just fine......

I don't have a problem using quick menus bluetooth switch. I turn it on, and I have it set up so that when I turn on my S9, it pairs then S2P opens. and it closes when I power down.

i use the files i attached in the zip. its a modified skin of battery status, and it works great. install the cab, and then move the folder and xml document to /program files/battery status. select the skin in today items options. when i used it with htc home, i deleted the background .png image to get rid of the background bar. always thought it looked better.
