Today plugin my countdown 1.2
 

This is a today plugin, called my countdown. It let's you put in a date and it will countodwn on the today screen. (itouch24) got me interested in this app when he or she posted a problem with it. What the problem was it was an old version 1.0. This is the update 1.2, which took care of the problem. The problem was after doing a soft reset you lose your settings. But now it's fixed. This will also work on VGA. Anyways, I thought I would post it here since I searched and didn't find anything on the update. Thanks again to itouch24 for getting me interested in this.

i installed, set and soft reset touch pro device ... and guess what... the settings were still there .... thanks so much for the update on this application ....

in the future i hope there will be additional updates to the application ...

adding more then one countdown and being able to select colors.... hey, one can dream right ....

nifty little app. but I have no use for it, S2U2 takes care of that via my calander. still nifty though

Nice find! Not something I am going to use, but it is cool. What would really catch my eye would be if there was a choice to designate the meathod of countdown, designating days, hours, minutes....whatever you like, that would be a conversation starter!!

is there anway to change the pixels used to make it smaller.. takes up allot of space on my vga screen .. would be great option

Settings > System > Screen > Text Size

Slide it down two notches which I found to be perfect b/c it also makes text message text smaller so I can see more words...
(just seems like more screen real estate for me!)

And in case you don't see the change right away, reboot.

I can't get this to work on my xv6800 - anyone else having issues? It keeps saying 'Countdown not set' even though I've set it to 3days 0months 0years (winter solstice). ??

Duh - nevermind - got it. Sometimes I'm so stupid I amaze myself.
