MS VoiceCommand 1.6 trial
 

ok, any idea where I can get a "trial" version of MS voice command 1.6. I was hoping that I could try it out before I put out the $40 for it. Does such a thing exist?

Dont think there is a trial. Just dump the money. This is one of the few programs that everyone should pony up the money and pay for.

Definitely worth the money, so get it now

I bought it but still have to figure out how to remove the VM that came with custom ROM and install the commerical one. I got response saying that I have to replce the VM.exe file, but not instructions how to do it.

this is one everyone needs gotta just get it.

rukshmani - at this point, it sounds like you already have a rom loaded that has everything baked in except 'voicecommand.exe'. Sooo...

1) Make a complete backup of your phone to your storage card. If you don't have a program to do that yet (there are a few), you can download the trial version of SPB Backup. That will make 3 good backups for you before you have to pony up.

2) Install MS Voice Command.

3) find 'voicecommand.exe' in the windows directory on your 6700. COPY IT TO A SAFE LOCATION ON YOUR STORAGE CARD.

4) Restore your backup (run the saved exe file from step 1). This gets rid of all changes since you made the backup (don't worry, your storage card stays the same).

5) Copy the saved copy of 'voicecommand.exe' from step 3 to your windows directory of your 6700.

6) Enjoy the fresh baked goodness!

Finally, after all these years, somebody actually gets the reference :shock:

just to explain, WAAAYYYYY back in the day when I first hopped on the net, I was, well, makin copies, at a copy center (and makin damn good money for it)

Since I liked the SNL skit and it described me, I went with it...just been too lazy to come up with anything else...
