automatic light sensor

I am wondering if there is a software were i can program the phone to do automatic settings based on the light that is going on around me, During the day i need it brighter then the night time which i would like to be a little dimmer etc.

look on xda-developers.com theres an app called "g-light" its new but u can mess with the light sensor
