Some have said that this ppcPodcast client is even better than the one above...it IS WM5 compatible. Give it a shot!

What is ppcPodcast?

ppcPodcast is a free software client for Windows CE devices such as Pocket PCs and Smart Phones that allows you to subscribe to audio and video programs on the Internet. Applications of this type are often referred to as "podcast aggregators". Once subscribed, ppcPodcast will automatically show you all available episodes of the subscription, and you can choose which episodes to download, play, or delete. ppcPodcast's multi-threaded architecture means that multiple podcasts can be downloaded simultaneously. ppcPodcast can play any type of podcast file format, as long as there is a registered player associated with that file type.

PocketRSS is now Free, just install, go to About screen, enter your email, and press Auto-Register button.
Works well - you just play your podcasts in whatever player you like (I use mortplayer)

I have been using pocket podcasts for about a year now. Works great. I download all my podcasts over wifi and listen back directly from my 6700. Works on on WM5 & WM6.
