What it does: Replace one of your "soft keys" with a "new menu" list. when you hit it, a small list pops up so you can select things like a new... *email, sms, contact, appointment, etc. *fully customizalble: add your own "new..." items *can change order *show/hide what you want *choose what softkey and it's name This app really makes one handed use accessible on this device. Takes about 2 mins to setup and is great for quickly pull out an email or text message, etc... Tips: in Outlook, moving the d-pad/joystick left or right will shift between your mail boxes such as text messages and gmail easily...no stylus is needed! |

version 2.0 out
WM5NewMenu 2.0 (beta)
There is a whole new version of this program just released (8/21) and it's even better now. It adds the ability for sub-menus, seperators and (the best part) Quick "SMS to" and "Call to" actions (button "browse - ..." acts as the Contact selector) allowing you to directly call somone via the program Calling/Texting your regulars has never been easier--in just 2 clicks you'll have your formatted SMS message or making that phone call. Here's a list of changes: - Launching by a hardware button - Cascading menus (up to 6 levels) - Separators - Quick "SMS to" and "Call to" actions (button "browse - ..." acts as the Contact selector) - Configurable positioning - Context menu - Copy/cut & paste edit actions - Keyboard shorcuts (Ctrl+C/X/V for edit actions and Ctrl+N for "New") - "New items" are now configurable as a submenu - Backup and restore from file - Drag&drop http://www.saman-cz.com/ppc/images/WM5Nmn1.png http://www.saman-cz.com/ppc/images/WM5Nmn5.png |

It's weird, my WM5NewMenu was set up perfectly and even had a little program launch section. Now, none of those program launch. I hit them and nothing happens.
Reinstall doesn't fix it. Dunno. I posted at XDA, maybe it's a bug. |
probably but I can say its been working fine for me and I love it. I mean I don't use the calendar much so replacing it was what I needed Thanks again. ;)
