sms chat backup.
 
has anyone succesfully backed up sms chat texts and then put it back on to a fresh copy after a hard reset

i backed up my texts to my sd card and now cant figure out how to get it back on my sms chat or even the phone. ive searched the threads and dont get it. any help?

run pim backup then instead of backup click restore on the drop down and browse and select ur backup file (.pib)

nah didnt work, but im sending you a thanks anyway. id send one to coz too, but im trying to overtake his thank you count, then his posting count, then ill be king

I'm not sure how to post a .rar file on here but I was playing around with PowerSMS which will let you schedule an SMS but also creates back up and restore.

I downloaded it as a trial version and it seems to work quite well. I think it is trinket software. If anyone can tell me how to post it on here I'd be happy to share the file. I think .rar is an invalid file type so I will try to zip it and post it a bit later.

Power sms works great, my trial ran out but I liked it so much I bought it (I have no problem purchasing/supporting good software if it's reasonably priced)
