HTC Mogul Best Custom Configuration

Hello

I am excited to have the "old" Mogul and was looking for some suggestions from all the engineers out there. Please share your recommendations, where to start so that all of us newbies can begin to utilize the full potential of this device.

I already read I can upgrade to WM6.1 with Rev A but I also read you must unlock the phone itself to allow it to read an 8GB memory card and have the iPhone experience?? Surely I will read up on all these differences but what do you suggest first?

I suggest you ungrade to dcd 3.2.6 ROM for starters. The nuerom's are awsome also, but the dcd is better for starters I think.

That doesn't always work.

My first 6800 would only read 1/2 of an 8 gig card until I loaded the SDHC driver.

My current 6800 with WM 6.1 is working just fine with a 16 gig card without the driver.

+1. however, its a great all around rom, not just a starter rom.

ok YOU GUYS i AM NEW TO ALL THIS so I was thinking you could really make a suggestion....like I am asking you what would you suggest.

So far I got ....
-dcd 3.2.6 ROM, and I assume the thread posted will show me how to load it
-SDHC driver, not sure how to load this but

I was thinking you'd give an example of your current configurations, relating to your usage...designs, features
If any that you think are essential like pics, music, radio, games, iphone theme etc
