backlight fix with HTC Home
 

I have been trying to find a fix to the problem of the only version of HTC Home that works in my XV6800 with WM 6.1 disabling the BL control for weeks.

I finally found a solution posted on XDA that works super. This adds a BL control Home Screen plug-in that works perfectly (it is in Russian, but one option switches it to English).

You can make the settings you want for both battery operation & A/C power & then remove the home screen display if you want & it will hold the settings.

You can also have it pop-up from the start menu & then X it off again.
