A_C is back!!! Not quite to where he was before he stopped, but he is starting to get back into developing/supporting, and after a couple changes and a bit more research, he will be releasing more!!! Here is his new site:

I am not sure how support or Q&A will work...I would assume threads in XDA and here still, but A_C will let us know!!!!

EDIT....I looked into it more, this site keeps all S2 apps together with his freeware statement, and when you click on the app you want, it directs you to the appropriate XDA thread, so for now, things aren't much different...I will try to keep updates going here as soon as they come out, and update this thread with any further changes!!!!

good, good, just when some other lock apps got going good, now I'm really going to have a hard time deciding which to use.. actually v1.22 works perfect for me, slight issue with s2p, but I think i can go back a version on that app and be ok.. finally I have 3 options for lock apps that will actually lock the talk & end key. ;) only took a couple of years.. :p

HOORAY! This post made my day because I love all of A_C's apps and was saddened when he said he was going to stop developing. But now that he's back, I hope (like many others) that he makes it so you can watch movies with different formats on S2P! With perhaps.. chapter selection for those bigger files? I look forward to seeing what A_C brings out for the next updates and maybe a new app! Thanks for the post syrguy1969!

I have mixed reactions as to whether or not I like this. I think the idea is there, but I am not sure if I like it being on the same bar like that, especially with the reject in the same direction as we slide to answer currently!! I think it will lead to a lot of accidental rejects out of habit!!

Any other opinions?

I agree with both of you guys....I think a separate bar for reject like lylej2k suggested or even just an option to enable/disable S2I (Slide to Ignore) would be good. I just don't really care for the current format of it. For one, for the number of calls I ignore (near none), it isn't worth it for me, but I also think the slider just isn't wide enough to accomodate a two-way slider like that without causing frustrations for a lot of people!!

i thought all you had to do currently is push a hardware button and the ringing will stop... isn't that enough?
i say nay on the ignore feature
if anything, i'd like to see an option to have a vertical battery animation, so it charges from bottom to top... this would give us more room for customization

I think the option to push a button to ignore is a device-specific thing, but I see your point. As of this release, I think if people are really intent on an 'ignore' feature, just disable S2A, then you have the standard green + red buttons to answer or ignore with!!!

I am 100% with you on the vertical battery charging motion, but I am going to wait until at least the next release before I start making suggestions/requests to A_C, I want him to slide back into things before getting inundated with requests. Plus...after a hiatus like this, A_C usually has some pretty slick ideas up his sleeve, he may already have done it!!!!

A vertical battery wouldn't be bad, but i've shut that off completely, I like my S2U2 wallpaper lol.

I believe my will silence if i push any button and ignore with the red phone still. not exactly sure cuz I, too rarely ignore a call

New version of S2U2? the reason I have a question mark there is I downloaded it, but don't have time to install now. however it does say S2U2-1.22b-qvga. the latest version i had didn't have the "b" on it.
