Remote desktop INTO Windows moble device

Anyone know of an application that would allow me to remote desktop into a pocket pc over the internet on the evdo connection. I want to be able to remote into a pocket pc and show someone how do something remotely, like installing cabs, changing email and activesync settings.

There are apps out there that allow you to control your PPC via your PC...but I don't know of anything that can do it remotely.

I do that with my PC with RealVNC, I've heard that there's a PPC version of RealVNC... but it may be only a viewer. There's a way to do it, but the device needs to be connected via AS.

BTW... how can you have only 10 posts and have negative rep?!?!? What did you do!!!

I dont know!!! i cant figure it out since it doesnt say who or why it was done.... ill look at the realvnc software and figure out if it can be done. It be neat to be able to go into a users pda and fix things for them :D

I'm looking for the same. I support many PPCs and SmartPhones, so an app that I can use to look at problems, registry, and more REMOTELY would be great!

This looks like a nice app, the price tag is a tad high, but if it works well, it's worth it!

you could always use the RD app from MS over the AS link, and then VNC into the host computer. Just a thought, otherwise if you're trying to go over the cell carrier they usual block damn near every port (near as i can tell from the few thing's i've tried)

How would the pocket controller work over the Internet? I have it but I only use it when hardwired and in activesync. If someone can explain how I can test the capabilities out.

It is well worth it  , It is extreamly reliable and is rather fast. There is a pocketVNC Server out there but it is not nearly as fast
