Greetings. Can somebody give me their opinion with this please. The only features i really use are audible, shoutcast and maybe youtube, which freeplay seems to handle just fine. Does the full version enhance these 3 things any further? thx

I use it for nothing but Youtube... It allows unlimited searching, access to your account (playlists, favorites, rate and comment on vid's), etc...

I've said it before, but I'll say it again (because I know the price point is going to be brought up a bunch) Kinoma offers registration with "Trial Pay" , sign up for a free trial of something , cancel before the time period ends and BANG you just got a $30 program for free. Its fairly simple, and %100 safe. You can even use a prepaid credit card with a dollar on it..

I went this route using the 'Blockbuster' way... Really easy... Love it!

Grrr still no home button. I would say we need it now more then ever. From a song I have to press back 5 times, and if you accidentally press it 6 times, your back to the now playing screen. 3 from a youtube favorite.

^^^ Pay no attention to that. Just hold the center button of your d-pad,

There is that... and if you click one too many times with a song paused, the song starts playing even though you werent trying to go to it. Nonetheless this is a pretty decent jump from the last version so I will cut them a lot of slack

IMO that is a little bit over the top. The home screen concept is pretty bad *****.. Ooh I just got a new CD ripped... Put it on the home screen. I stream one particular radio station..put it on the home screen., LastFM, twitter, facebook support. In the future I would like to see that if you click the x it takes you to the home menu, and if you click it twice it minimizes, RSS support is also here, along with possibilities in the future.

What dont you like about it? (Well besides LastFM doesn't seem to scrobble :))

Re: Kinoma media player

I have four movies I ripped from DVD to h.264 using cucusoft ultimate DVD convertor on my card. For some reason, they don't show up in that directory when Kinoma does its scan thing.

I went to the directory with the file browser & told one of the movies to open with Kinoma (instead of WMP which is what I normally use for movie playback as it's the only player with hardware support)

When the movie opened with Kinoma, I saw right away why it excluded them from the KP directory. The movie is virtually unwatchable in Kinoma (it is a jerky pixelly looking mess) although it gives virtually perfect playback in WMP......
