"Kinoma Play chosen as anchor application for Windows Marketplace for Mobile"

It's like they blew load and fizzled out. MS making an application, that never gets updated as its "anchor" is rather funny in itself.

anyways, is there a way to keep your favorites after a flash? i added all my local favorite radio stations to my favorites, but when i flash a new rom, and reinstall kinoma, it doesnt save my favorites. is there a file or something i could back up?

thanx if someone has a fix for me :D

Backup the Kinoma folder from \Application Data\Kinoma and restore it after you flash.

Here is a great post on how to get album art for certain tracks of music and how this concept is related in Kinoma Play..

+1 to being pissed at Kinoma.

5 months, no update? Really? And then a deliberately non-informative message left on their forum stating "something really big" should be coming "soon".

Lame.

Have been using Kinoma for streaming my music through Orb, but have even noticed that kinda sucks, as it can't seem to handle hiccups in the stream without hanging up the file. Sometimes I have to go and open up a PIE browser just so it will realize the connection's back.

Kinoma, get your $hit together.

I read this over the weekend. Marketplace for Mobile: What's prohibited notice #8

8. Applications that change the default browser, search client, or media player on the device.

If I'm not mistaking, isn't this the one complaint EVERYONE who ever tried Kinoma has ?

It sure is, I finally gave up complaining about it because Kinoma seems to think it's perfectly OK to steal every single file association in the entire system without asking permission.

It's like they just assume that EVERYBODY who buys the app is a total NOOB...........

My guess is Kinoma won't be doing anymore Hijacking, at least when buying it from the market place..

Yea, maybe that will FINALLY get them to clean up their act. That has always been an extremely annoying aspect of the app.......
