Re: Kinoma media player

I've been playing with Kinoma on the Mogul and here's a list of the features I'd like to see:
  • Ability to exit from any screen. I don't understand why I've got to go all the way back to the home page before I can get to an exit button. On the Mogul the ability to actually exit is pretty paramount to being able to use the program.
  • Multiple Orb accounts would be nice. I've got Audio at home but Video at the office. Selecting would be better than having to type in account information every time.
  • Download multiple items. There's a lot of times where I know I'm going to be going through bad service and want to get a couple albums on my phone before I lose it. At the moment, the only way is to download songs one at a time. It would better to be able to select an album and have a queue.
  • Just a little bug. Sometimes, when I've paused the music and turned off the phone, it comes back on a few seconds later in my pocket. Not horrible, just a little annoying.
Other than that, love it, own it, waiting for updates.

Thanks,

SuperBonBon

I know Last.fm support has been brought up in the past. But in case you didn't know you'll get some free advertising on peoples profiles when they are listening with your client.

I'm getting the impression this player isn't really very handy at all for someone that doesn't have a data package..

It can play music that is already on the device, but it is billed as a "Media Web Browser".. The main perks are the connections to ORB and YouTube...

I purchased it this weekend, it does do a great job streaming several radio staions that use embedded browser plugins to stream. So far I am very impressed. I tend to use coreplayer for video, and kinoma for audio and orb.
