I used to have Kinoma on my Treo 650 and I thought it was the greatest program ever. It was well worth paying for on *that* platform, without nearly as many free alternatives available. I still think it's a fantastic program but I'm not sure I would purchase it again for WM6. It's also tricky getting media apps to work well on the Mogul, since afaik Direct Draw issues have never been dealt with properly and not everything supports alternate renderers.

I have that same problem. She does not understand the addiction.

no wma support on the free version. i generally don't mess with wma at all, but converting 4500 songs using WMP to 40kbps was alot easier than other solutions (which sounds pretty good on my bt stereo headset btw). this program is pretty nice otherwise.

Re: Kinoma media player

lol.. You converted 4500 songs @ only 40kbps? You should have tried using trial pay instead of doing all that for just the free version and then opted out and paid nothing.. 40kbps sounds good?

Kinoma Play is a whole different beast. As good as Kinoma Player 4 EX for Palm OS is, Kinoma Play and FreePlay were written from the ground up for modern mobile OSs like Windows Mobile.

We avoid DirectDraw on WinMo completely because it's a disaster. If you try Kinoma FreePlay, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how well it works on Moguls.

The update that was released last weekend.. That was for the paid version of Kinoma, correct? Also, do you know of any upcoming updates for the Free version?

Update I have loaded Juggalo's rom and loaded the latest version of Kinoma Play and the auto rotation works with the g-sensor of the touch Pro, not sure if this was the update or that i switched roms.
