Important (I need help)
 

I know I ask a lot from this place, but I am currently in a bind with some things, that i'm not going to explain. I want to record my phone conversations that I recieve from certain people. I am looking into Resco's Audio recorder, and I'm using the trail, about to upgrade to full, and was wondering if it's is capable of recording the conversations between the two parties. (Me and the other person.) I'm currently getting an error message saying the audio input is unable to be started. Thanks ahead of time, and I'm willing to donate to those that help me, with making it possible, even if it's another program. Not immediately, because I'm in look of work at the moment. It won't be too fancy, because I'm not a rich kid. Point is, I'm doing this for legal reasons, that some people could probably guess.

Let me just put this in legal terms. If you intend to record someone without their knowlege, be sure that you are not violating any wiretap statutes in your state. If you are, not only are the recordings not admissible for any legal proceedings, but you could be placing yourself in legal jeopardy. Be careful!

Just a heads up, but you should check the laws in your state (looks like Indiana...my home for 4 years) regarding the legality of recording phone calls. Many states are OK with it as long as one party(i.e. you) is aware it's going on. To expand on what LoriInWA, said you really need to make sure you're not violating any wiretap statutes. You sure don't need to compound whatever issues to trying to resolve. Looky here..http://www.in.gov/legislative/ic/code/title35/

I've done spoke with someone about this, as long as it's a conversation between me and the other person, it's fine.

Sorry for the mis-placement, and thanks, I didn't really search much on it. It was more a spirt of the moment thing.

Ty. I just read in another forum that is a hardware block for HTC phones after WM 6 update. Anyone know anyways around it?

I guess not.. Well, looks like it's going to have to be to good old fasion way of letting them get caught on their own.
