Is Mobile Shell/dialer draining my battery?
Hello all, my 6700 battery is sh*tty all on its own, it didn't need any help. But somehow I've found a way to help it i guess. Can running Mobile Shell as my only today plugin drain my battery faster than normal? The only other thing that I've recently changed is installing a iphone style dialer, could that also be the problem? Sorry for the ignorance, it just frustrating not being able to be too far from my charger. To those with the answers I thank you in advance.

Go to your Weather tab on Mobile Shell. Open the settings function (icon looks like a cog). Make sure the "update weather forecasts automatically" box is NOT checked.

Re: Is Mobile Shell/dialer draining my battery?
normally after I'm done using the internet I click on the network icon on my task bar, and click the "Disconnect" from SprintPCS button. shutting off my data connection

That indeed will disconnect you...but if you have ANY program that uses data it will automatically reconnect when needed.
