Spb 2.1
this might sound like a stupid question but i want to be absolutely positive before i install SPB mobile shell 2.1...if i do a hard reset will it get rid of SPB completely (on the off chance that i don't like it)?

Re: Spb 2.1
do you have it backed up? why not just remove it yourself?

Re: Spb 2.1
im cursed when it comes to technology so things tend to break (mostly because i like to play around with settings) so yes i have everything backed up. I just wanted to try something new, was using the iphone theme from torx, and thought spb looked fun to play around with...

Re: Spb 2.1
thats what i was hoping thanks guys...another quick question though which is better for optimal customizing wisbar desktop or spb? ive tried both so far and am leaning toward wisbar but i want second opinions on both..
thanks C |
Re: Spb 2.1
I've been using spb with greatbal diamond theme, i have been pretty happy with it all in all. Wisbar is more customizable though.

Re: Spb 2.1
thanks bee
i've noticed that too (about wisbar) i've tried jdume's diamond theme, liked the look, i think i'll try spb with greatbal diamond theme now though. thanks again C |
Re: Spb 2.1
I've tried SPB MS with the diamond theme and WM7 theme, and they both work fairly well. My main gripe is the bundled SPB contacts app. I use iContact (which rocks) and can't seem to get past the SPB contacts app when I view contacts. Personally, I'm a fan of the HTC Home plugin. With it, I can add a little fanciness to my today screen without messing with core WM functionality.
To answer your question about removing SPB MS, all you need to do is go to Start > Settings > System > Remove Programs and remote MS. A hard reset will remote it, but at the cost of resetting you to your last clean flash. Overkill in my opinion. |
