HTC home music player
 

I was wondering if there's a way to change which music player the HTC Home music icon monitors. I don't use Windows Media Player which is the default program it watches.

HHC program or registry setting.

I looked through the registry but I can't find where to make the change.

Like it was said above , use HHC home. It allows you to change almost all the settings in the HTC home, Just click on the link above.

in HHC go to "Options" tab
you can only switch beetween "windows media" and "audio manager"
in my opinion audio manager is better because you can minimize it and you can still control the player in the tab itself,although i rather use s2p

if you want HTC audio manager as your default player change

HKLM\Software\HTC\Music Plug-In
“MusicPlayer” = 2 (default is 1 for WMP)

I believe only WMP and Audio manager are supported with HTC Home Plugin
