opera 9.5.. flash supported?

So the opera 9.5 beta says the final will be flash supported.. does this mean we will be able to go to hulu or youtube and watch vids, or any other video type site? If this was true, it could be the perfect browser.. what would this mean for Skyfire?

Re: opera 9.5.. flash supported?

I cant even get it to install. It tells me insufficient previlages.

I am using Dharvey rom and it already come with opera in the rom. Could that be the problem ?

Re: opera 9.5.. flash supported?

LOL. It is not the wonder Opera app. I installed and tried it and It's just like the other release. No Youtube videos at all! The page loads properly but the video is missing. I went to other streaming video sites with no luck as well. If this is the "one", It will be all over xda engadget all over the internet. Skyfire is still on top when it comes to flash and java sites. Worth trying thou.

Re: opera 9.5.. flash supported?

wonder why the video's are not working for you guys on youtube. i went to the page and it loaded a couple seconds after the page was done loading. if i could do a video i would show it working

I dont blame you. the video looks terrible compared to the video i recorded. dont know why the recorded video looks better. and even the recorded video looks worse than my skyfire :-p

I say, U prolly have something on ur phones setup which make the video appear even thou it's not perpect. The rest of us can't see any videos at all. It also say one thing. There will be a Opera mobile with full flash support coming out because it's not imposible anymore.

Re: opera 9.5.. flash supported?

Yea, the youtube videos show up the same way for me that they show up for imnerval0ne. Any other flash video site I go to says that I need to update to the latest version of flash. For now I am fine with streaming my video on an external player.

I gotta log off real quick coz I'm tethering. But yeah I can log in and went to my fav site to confirm connection. It's working properly. Well, sometimes I cannot log in too coz my location is not getting a good enough signal to connect to the net. Try logging in a different location.

We already have a release thread every time a new version comes out. This can be discussed in those threads.
