Snap2Face - Facebook Application

I guess they are starting to finally be released... FriendMobilizer was released the other day (check the existing thread for info) and now Snap2Face.

This one looks a little better than FriendMobilizer, however, I have not tested either.

Here's the download link: http://www.magnifoca.com/products.html

FriendMobilizer is awful. It's like a scripted version of IE. I hated it. I will try this.

Re: Snap2Face - Facebook Application

The latest snap2face fixes some bugs I had with the older one, but it still crashes when I try to upload pictures from my pics folder.
snap2face tries to create a series of thumbnails for you to choose a pic from when you do this, which is great if your directory only has 20 or so pictures in it. But my camera saves all pics into one giant dir with about 200+ pictures in it. Snap2Face consistently crashes and gives me an error about being unable to create more thumbnails before it reaches the bottom.

The odd thing to me is that there aren't any more facebook apps for WinMobile out there... wasn't there some news about Microsoft creating a facebook SDK for Windows Mobile? It was like a big deal, and kind of strange for MS to be involved in, but the promise was to enable people to create more social networking apps for their devices.
Yet, snap2face is the only one I've seen, and its hella buggy!

Microsoft bought over 200 million in Facebook stake. I have a feeling they want to be heavily involved in its growth :)

It errors everytime it views my friends. Just says an "unknown error" has kept it from updating. No matter what I do, I can't get it to update.
