Re: Privus Mobile - Calling name for numbers that are not stored in contacts
That's a pretty cool idea but I can tell you that I would never, ever find it useful or convenient enough to spend $83.40/year on it. And I am willing to bet many others will be chiming in with the same feeling...

Re: Privus Mobile - Calling name for numbers that are not stored in contacts
I need caller ID and name to help with incoming calls for work. I had tried it for a short time but seems that during th time I used it there was a software problem. Even I think that this is way too much use for me. Most users of PPC are real people with bills and can not see this software making it in the real world even if times weren't hard like now.

Here in Canada, we have "Name Display" provided by the carriers that does provide a similar feature. And they can offer it for 7$, is from a reliable source and the 84$ a year is not a contract. They can even get it cheaper than 7$/month with a package.

Re: Privus Mobile - Calling name for numbers that are not stored in contacts
Since it comes down to about $8 a month maybe just maybe if my mobile was my only phone...no land line...now if there was a way to show "Call ID" on cell numbers since also everyone has a cell now that I would buy in a heart beat.
Does your service show "True Caller ID(Name)" on cell numbers? |
Re: Privus Mobile - Calling name for numbers that are not stored in contacts
and from the FAQ, it sounds like it needs the internet to deliver the info to your phone. so sprint people would have to wait till after the call was over :-\
