PDANet v2.0

Is anyone using v2.0? I was wondering about the advantages over v1.8 and is it worth the upgrade?

Tanks in advance!

How is this different from WM6 Internet Sharing?

When you receive a call, it disconnects. I noticed with 2.0, you don't have to reconnect. I'm going to give it a work out later tonight...

I'm also testing 2.0 ... New to this soft...

For other users, using it, you never get invoiced for tethering ??

I personally never got invoiced for tethering using pdanet. I dont do alot of downloading/uploading while tethering though, like torrents and such. Just simple browsing on the laptop while in the car. I'm probably wrong, but doesnt pdanet somehow mask the fact that you're/the user is tethering? Thought i read that somewhere. dschoenike

Anyone know why "proxy mode" doesn't work on WM5? Kind of a bummer on a 700wx as any incoming call drops the connection AND sends the call to VM. Not very useful when your SSH'd into a server fixing something important and the boss calls.

It makes it appear that your using the browser on your phone. But sprint is a little wiser now. I've seen in the new vogue rom, they set it as "Phone as Modem" and change it back with every soft reset. Unless you delete that of course...

Found a crack as I'm against software vendors asking for money every time they come out with a release...

but..... then saw the upgrade discount and went for it:)

One of the best internet-sharing apps out there:) definately recommend it - and it's saved my butt a few times...
