WMDC on Windows XP
 

I'm having a lot of problems getting my Apache synced (not sure about the issue, but I'm just recovering from a nasty viral infection on the PC) and was wondering if it's possible to use WMDC on a WindowXP [MCE] box.
Reinstalling ActiveSync hasn't fixed it.

A second reinstall of ActiveSync seems to have gotten me connected.
I had to resync the device again, but I am connected.

Still, I'd like to know if anyone is happy with WMDC and if it's possible to use on XP.

I don't believe so. My understanding is that WMDC was designed specifically for Vista....not that it works. I've been trying for nearly a year, but that's another story for another day

^That is correct. WMDC will not install on an XP machine
