Not a Valid PPC App
 

How come(im a New kid ..so I dont know)when I google any app such as New Sprint Rom,Tom Tom etc .etc it states that this is a app for Pocket PC....but when I download it to my phone it staes (after the download) that this is not a valid Pocket Pc Application.

It's one of a few things:
1. You're trying to install an .exe to your phone that needs to be run first on your pc.
2. You're trying to install something other file type (e.g., .nbo, etc.) that needs additional software to run.
3. It may be a zipped file in which case you need something like Total Commander to open on your ppc first.

How do you go about adding those to your ppc, or how to find out about the files, im new with this so sorry for the newb question?

When you download a file from the web.
it gives you two options
1.an .exe file
2. a .cab file
.exe files has to be run from the computer
.cab files from pocket pcs, if it is an .exe file plug your ppc on your computer. run the file
if it`s a .cab file copy and paste to your memory card and run it from your ppc. thats all.
