Media Player for ORB
ok.. I know that this has been touch on before in the past but times change and so on..
the question I have is this.. what is the best aplication for streaming video from orb... I know that most people are using tcpmp wich works great.. cept that it doesnt suport bluetooth remot.. and every time I pause it.. I have to restart the video.. and fastford.. slow at best.. what im looking for is something that works the way youtube does.. it will stream the video and cache it to your storage card so you can pause and play and fast forward.. and... paus with out having to restart the video... (I watch orb at work on my phone and have to pause frequently) and want to be able to use bluetooth audio and be able to remote control... idealy... windows media woudl be perfect if it wasnt for the fact that its so bugy.. and that it breaks every time I pause...... any sugestions??? |
Re: Media Player for ORB
The only other option that is out there would probally the core player
shareware) its not free but it will play what you need. Until someone creates a new streaming media player we are going to be stuck with the tcpmp. http://mobihand.com/coreplayer/platf...asp?platform=2 |
Re: Media Player for ORB
I was hoping to find an alternitive to anything by core...... but I do have to agree.. that the core player is freaking awsome..

Re: Media Player for ORB
Thanks guys! After installing TCPMP and those WMV codecs, Orb works a million times better. It's actually what I would consider watchable. The only thing I would add is that you want to be sure to switch it to GDI mode.
