Navigators/GPS..?
 
Ok, I'm hearing lots of talks about navigators and GPS, and I know what a navigator is, but what's a GPS? What's it for?

Now, I need help. (You can probably tell by now). I 'travel' a lot. I attend lots of concerts, within the state and outside, and in other countries. But every concert I've been to so far, I was never the driver. So, for future concerts, I REALLY want to drive, and I need a navigator.

Here's some criterias that I want it to have:
- I guess it's called 'text to speech'? where the navigator announce street names..?
- Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I heard it from somewhere that some navigators shows how many lanes there are on your side of the street..?

That's all I can think of for now, can anyone recommend something and have a little summary of what it can do and can not? And how much is it?

I also have an HTC Tilt, I can put a navigator in there right? If so, would it be better/cheaper to have it on my phone?
