does anyone know of one? i wanna watch my tv tuner card, but orb has been acting up latley. anyone know of another good free one?

Edit: yes i did search if anyones wonderin, look up orb alternative and see what you find lol :-p

I might as well pipe in my problem with orb. For some reason, Orb always uses an insane amount of my system resources, even when it is not streaming anything. It idles using about 1 gig of ram and about 60% of my 2.1 Ghz core 2 duo. Again, this is when the program is doing nothing.

Whats that about?

I would also be pleased to find a good alternative.

i just cant get anything to stream from orb anymore, and i want an alternative. those things are good that you put up, but i dont think any of them will let me stream cable from my house to my phone will it?

I have noticed lately that Orb will shut itself down on my machine. As a matter of fact, I just looked and it is is not running now. It is very frustrating when I go to stream something and Orb is not running. I will check out these other solutions....

edit: soonr.com must not be accepting new BETA accounts because I don't see where to setup an account or sign up. avennu.com is worthless. Webguide4 looks fairly promising...

thanx guys, soonr is open cause i just downloaded it and created a screen name from the program itself and it worked fine. doesnt do my TV though as far as i can tell. i have webguide on my computer as well but i cant figure out how to make it work with my cable either. if anyone has iny insight or tips please share! lol
