S2U2 and Switch Command?
 

I'm having the problem where S2U2 is showing I have an unread sms, when I indeed don't. I see there's a "switch command," which is -reset to fix the problem, but how the hell do I do this? I assume I make a shortcut for the ilock2.exe, but I don't even see how to do that... any help is appreciated, thanks.

edit: i think i just realized what needs to be done. i need to have the phone connected to my PC and create a shortcut that way. if there's some other way please let me know.

You can create shortcuts using most file explorers on the device itself. Look for options like "Copy as Shortcut", "send to Start Menu as link," etc. What file explorer do you use?

just the default.. although I have Resco on here. I did the "send to Start Menu as link" and i'm trying to go from there.

edit: finally figured it out, thanks... however it still didn't fix my problem. i've tried some program called "FixUnreadCount.exe" but it doesn't ever work. i found the registry key to change the value back to 0, but when i get a new text message it automatically goes to 2. kind of annoying, but i guess i'll just hard reset to fix it.
