Everything works though. Radio streams and song info is shown. If you want to listen with the screen off use the option in the program and don't turn off using the power button. The stream will disconnect if you put it in standby by using the power button.

Wow 10 seconds to stream...that is about 5 seconds longer than it takes for me. Then again, that could be a product of the Alltel network.

The song/title information may take a while to retrieve because I'm intercepting that from the stream as it's delivered. That is the Proxy that you have the ability to disable. When your screen is disabled in any fashion then C-ApiSRO stops processing song/title information to save battery. After the screen is activated again it will continue to retrieve song/title. You are correct in that you should choose the option to turn the screen off through C-ApiSRO and NOT the system power button. The system screen off will cause the stream to pause every 10 seconds and it gets annoying.

Logs are always welcome, but I'm a little concerned that Ed Zachary's problem is now something with his setup, because scuccia appears to be running just fine.

Are you still experiencing problems, or did my latest executable fix things for you? If you are still having problems with my latest update then please send as many logs as you are able to send. Thanks.

How long did it take before the music stream started playing for you? I gave up on the song info after the "blackout" I wrote about. Gave up waiting about a minute after I woke the phone back up.

EDIT:
Tried a few more times. This time, I kept tapping the title bar to make sure the phone wasn't just "going to sleep" while it waited. It is not. Instead of the screen dimming then going black. The screen suddenly just goes black as if I had pressed the power button. If I tap the "play" icon again, the screen turns off again after about 30 seconds.

I was afraid of this. After looking at the last C-ApiSRO log file that you sent me it appeared there was something wrong with your phone and the actual stream. I was unable to open the network capture file you gave me. For some reason the file has text in it, but my tools can't open it. If you could recapture and send that data to me then it would be of great help.

Thanks.

Will do. I'm going to remove a couple things, like Skyfire, to see if that makes any difference.
Oh, and do a couple reboots, as well. We know how Windows loves reboots! =D>

EDIT: (3 hours later) In a good RevA area now. Uninstalled the one app that had been installed since the last good connection to Sirius (Skyfire) and rebooted a few times. Still no music and the screen goes black 30 seconds after tapping the "play" icon.

Both "turn off device" options in power settings are still unchecked. The screen does not dim then turn off as it does with a normal power-saving sequence of dim then off. It turns off after 30 seconds. I have to use the power button to bring the phone back to life (as if I had used the power button to turn the screen off).

I sent the netlog0.cap and log.txt files. Do you want the netlog1.cap, as well?

I am still experiencing the same issues with the debug version. However I have not done a proper capture with it yet. I'll get it this evening

This new debug version is working for me everytime no problem. I have Alltel and I'm using their RevA network (not roaming) and it's working just fine. I'm am not using the stock Alltel rom though.

I would say its Alltel's network. When I connect over wifi it's like 3 seconds.

This is working great for me, thanks for all the hard work.

NOTE: If there are any Alltel users still having problems I recommend a hard reset. Don't install any apps except for C-ApiSRO, copy over and run the NEW debug EXE and then post results. If you can do this it should rule out any software incompatibility.

I hard reset every couple of days or so because I'm always testing out and cooking up my own roms, and this app is working perfectly.

R-Capi,

I purchased StarPlayr two weeks ago and when they end the software I got a refund. I'd like to send you what I was refunded for StarPlayr since without this I had nothing reliable to stream Sirius.

Let me know how I can send this to you.

Working Now!

On a whim (that's where I do some of my best work) I put the latest debug version of the app on the Boss Lady's phone. Did not turn on logging, and logged on to Sirius. Song and artist information appeared and music started!

Started the debug version on my phone, logging off, and logged on to Sirius with my real account info. Song and artist information appeared and music started as well!

Just for gits and shiggles, logged out on my phone and logged back in with the guest account (today's the last day) with no logging. Started to download song info. After thirty seconds the screen went black.

So the debug version works with real login info!
