This is interesting. I will have to do more research on that widget to see what is going on there. Thanks for the info.

Hey r-capi, this has become a major pet peeve of mine...

whenever I receive a call while listening to the radio, the call interrupts the feed and stops the media player (provided I answer). Once the call is finished, it tries to let the media player continue, but XM drops the connection and I get the, "we're sorry, but the xm blah blah blah.. please reconnect and try again..."

great, fine. I don't have a problem with that. it's when i try to pick another channel or the same channel that bugs me. the player actually seems to connect and the try to play, but then the app suddenly crashes and I have to start all over.

I never understood whats the big deal with those and why would you pay for have radio?

Is there a trial i can try sat radio?

Thanks

If you visit the Sirius / XM websites, you can sign up for a free trial for 3 days. I'm sure that after the trial & use of this awesome app you'll get a sat radio subscription. I'll pay for anything that doesn't have commercials! LOL

Hi -

First off, fantastic app - I've been using it for about a month now in it's various releases and it's always worked fantastically on my Sprint Touch Diamond.

Quick question though. I just upgraded to high speed streams and noticed upon my first sign in that the "High Speed" option was now enabled which shows that your app has obviously found that my account was indeed upgraded.

However, it's somewhat difficult to tell if moving from a 32k stream to 128k has made an audio difference, at least over the default phone speaker. =P

In any event, I've searched through your thread pages and never quite was able to tell if the program is indeed streaming at 128k now (even though it clearly knows I have an "upgraded account".

Is high speed active? Perhaps as a feature request for a future version, you could program in a "statistics" bar that shows the speed of the incoming stream?

In any event, thanks again for the great work! If you'll take donations, please PM me with a paypal account and I'd be happy to contribute to the cause. =)

You'll just have to tell people to stop calling you.

Seriously, I'll note this as a defect and take a look at it when I get the chance. No promises though.

i'm not looking for anything miraculous. i just want the app to stop crashing. you said you incorporated an "auto-logon" for xm subscribers when the connection drops. i wonder if you just need to release the connection / close the background media player and then retry the logon.

maybe have the app actually log itself off and log back on?

Sirius uses a flag in the stream request to ask for high/low stream feeds. The only thing I do is send the proper flag when you select it, if your account supports it. I've never actually looked at the physical stream to see what I'm getting because I do not pay for high stream. I was able to briefly test it using a friends account, but that's a far as it went.

I will look to see if there is a quick way to report the statistics and add it to my list of future features.

Thank you for the donation offer, however, at this point I don't feel their is a need to ask for it. Just remember, despite what others are saying, C-ApiSRO is the first Sirius XM app available.

App is awesome and works perfectly. The only negative, which isnt really all that important is that the app freezes for a split second when i scroll. So I will fling the channels down to scroll, and it will freeze, then continue scrolling, then freeze, then continue scrolling, then freeze then finish scrolling. Not that big of deal, but just thought I would throw in my experience. Thanks a lot for all of your hard work on this program.
