Stupid ActiveSync question
Probably covered somewhere, but I couldn't find it....sorry if it is...
Anyhow, I have a file/directory on my ActiveSync PC that I want to get sent to my PPC whenever there's an update (i.e. I update a spreadsheet on the desktop, next time I sync it gets updated on the PPC). Should be simple I thought...half hour of playing with activesync yielded no progress...anyone help a doofus?? Thanks. Bucky |
Re: Stupid ActiveSync question
Open ActiveSync on your PC. Under the tools menu select Options. Check the box for "files". This will put a folder on your desktop.
Simply save your updated spreadsheet to this folder and ActiveSync will update it to your ppc. Hope that answers your question. late, Coz |
Re: Stupid ActiveSync question
Thanks Coz! I guess I kept getting diverted when going down that path because it kept asking me to create a 'profile' and I kept trying to figure out how to do that. Or I'm just teh dope. Smart money on the latter.
Now if I just could create soft links in Windoze life would be perfect! Thanks again, Coz! |

Glad to be of assistance my friend!
