Yeah, the updates are still going, and having other apps is a good backup, but I haven't seen another app with the skin/icon configurability (if that is even a word LOL) that WP has!! I have heard PocketWeather has come close and that storyr works with it as well, but I am addicted to storyr's Energy 240 skin with the Stardock animated icons, and that will really suck if I can't find something as slick looking as that when it does finally come down to WP dying on us.

I feel the same way. I really like phatphinger and hope it can be ported to something else
