Text messaging (dont know who send it )
 

ok i might be late, but i just got and installed the cooked WM 6 on my sprint ppc 6700, it works great, my only issue is the text messaging. when i get a message i have no clue who send it, cus it dont get the contact i get the first word of the message as the sender so i don't know who to reply to. if anyone else encountered this issue please let me know how to fix it.

does this happen on the wm5 rom? also, are you using a 6.1 rom with integrated threading?

If you are using a custom ROM, they usually have the carrier customization built in. Allowing them to install again after a hard reset causes problems such as you are experiencing because old files are written over the new ones built into your ROM. Try a hard reset and then when you see "Customizing in 3 seconds..." do a soft reset and DO NOT allow the customizing to run. Then test and let us know the results.
