The new version is slower. It takes a lot longer to load now.

I hope someone can help me but since I'm a complete noob at this stff, how in the HELL do I load this onto my phone. I have my phone hooked up via usb cable and unzipped it and then put the cab file on the front page of my phone when I click explore through activesync but it showed nothing under programs. What am I doing wrong?

Once you've loaded the cab onto your ppc via ActiveSync you then need to go to your ppc and click on the .cab file. This will start the install process. The .cab is merely a means of getting the program to you ppc...you then have to install it.

Is there another step I'm supposed to do in order to find the cab file on my phone? I assume that I put it in the right area, which was on the first screen that opened when I click explore on my activesync?

I went to programs and today and didn't see it anywhere. Am I suppose to soft reset it or something before it'll show up or disconnect my phone from the computer first? SOrry for all these noob questions but this is frustrating when I'm sure the answer is super simple.

Is there a certain file or folder that I'm suppose to put all the different programs I put on my phone or is the first window that opens up under explore the right spot?

It's on your phone. Look in all of your folders listed under "My Device" when you open File Explorer.

this may be the wrong thread, but is there a benefit to using today agenda over spb diary or pocket informant? aside from free?

It depends on what you need. Besides being free, as you mentioned, TodayAgenda is very small (memory footprint) and highly customizable.

I don't need anything more. It's all about what you are looking for and need.

I use TA on my Today Screen under one of the Mobile Shell tabs. That is its primary function. It's more of a portal to your calendar/tasks, etc. PI can become your default calendar (replacing the stock calendar) and is very powerful. I use the latest release of PI and love it. It interfaces very well with TA.

I have no experience with spb diary.
