AutoLock - free device locking app
Found here: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...auto-lock.html
Auto Lock Description Just another auto locking program using the Windows Lock and it is activated a few seconds after the screen has dimmed and after the device has waken up. To install it simply copy the csdevctrl.exe to a folder and run it. It will run at the background as another process. Running the program second time it will exit (It will show a confirmation window which will close in 3 seconds unless you close it sooner). To uninstall it, close the process as usual (run it again or kill the process) and delete the file. As a note, do not rename the csdevctrl.exe as the uninstall depends on this name. |
Re: AutoLock - free device locking app
I found it's home here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386451
I think I tried this app when nautica2450 first posted, but at the time it was still early in dev stages.. It has come along way since april!!!! the developer @xda seems very responsive to issues, and is still active in the project. key features; 1. today screen is visable 2. highly customizable 3. works with/ontop standard wm-lock (for those that use/need pin-code) 4. works with s2u2 (if you like your customized bling) 5. Diamond compatable & Last, but to me the MOST IMPORTANT!! 6. option to disable ALL HARDWARE BUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been looking specifically for a locking app the will disable the END h/w key so that I don't hang up a call accidentally while using bluetooth. this fits the bill perfectly!!! I have not tested #4 & 5 yet, but users have reported these to work. |
