i have a video that was sent to me by my friend, but I can't open it on my mogul. it's a PIE file.

What format is it?

I never seen a video file that at the end say .pie

But it could exist not sure.

after the video name . ?

PiE Tezzzy 1.wmv (4002Kb). i think it's windows mobile, but why can't i open it?

Your WM player on your mogul should open it.
If doesnt the download this player http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/
And there some codecs I saw somewhere on the forums I try to find it and and post the link.

i just downloaded the tcpmp earlier today so that i could see some u tube videos. are these the same?

ok if you have the tcpmp good.

One is a codec I had downloaded from one of the forums that enables the tcpmp to play .wmv files and the other is an extra that you might need for other formats.

did you already try opening the file with the tcpmp? did it give you some sort of error message?

ok, i saved as pie in main memory, then when I went to it, i got "cannot display the attachment". so then i went to the tcpmp and tried to open it from there and I got "Player" audio codec (windows media audio) not supported by player". now what do i do?

Need to find the codec. Not sure what codec it's looking for, but WMP might tell you which codec is missing so you can search for it and DL it.
