Looking for a TOP battery meter!!

Just a plain bar along the top of my Touch. Wizebar had it and certain other programs..

I love the bar meter, but I do not like the programs that are needed to have it.

Is there anything simple out there like this?

THANKS!

Google pBar. It's a task manager, battery meter (top bar) and more.

Re: Looking for a TOP battery meter!!

i know pbar is a task mngr also but the top batt bar is easy to determine battery charge, green when good and red at approx 10% batt remaining and gray means charging. also goes all the way across in portrait and landscape the task mngr is an added plus but you can opt for it not to display anything in the corner if u so desire

i've always liked the vistahide battery guage. i find it pretty easy to tell as the bar moves from green to red. and if you need to know your percentage instead of just estimating with the bar, use whatever built in app you've got to give you the percent. the Mogul has a nice guage, but i don't like have to go to the menu for it. Vistahide starts when i start my mogul (at least it does if you put it in the Startup folder) and has always been a nice guage for me. YMMV

Re: Looking for a TOP battery meter!!

Well this vistahide battery bar is great!! I don't want ANYTHING ELSE but the line, and I also don't understand the problem, it displays just fine, I don't need any color chance, it goes in 5% increments. I like it !

Re: Looking for a TOP battery meter!!

yea i was going to suggest Ariel or Vistahide. Glad you found what you were looking for. Also metrix is a good program for a today screen plugin that shows battery, Storage, RAM, and a screen brightness scrollbar

I actually used metrix for a while.

I was gonna suggest that. Though its kinda difficult to get it to just show the mattery meter. But when you understand that you can make skins real easy. Just delete the other images in the skin...

Why?? What better colors could there be rather than green-red.

Just because you can?

Re: Looking for a TOP battery meter!!

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

Is there a battery meter that will show 1% increments (on the today screen) that will work w/ the cab files that are avaiable to indicate 1% increments (in the battery level page)?

I did a search and I couldn't find one that I was looking for. I know that a cab file was made for the Diamond, but wasn't sure if there was another one made for the Mogul. I'm currently using vistahide, but I'd prefer percentages to be indicated on the today screen in conjunction with the other cab made (for the battery page).

Thanks in advance.

I recommed Batti.
http://code.google.com/p/batti/
Can show 1% increment, but it is based on PDA HW driver that you have I mean...

Thanks, guys! I actually found batti before you had posted. It's awesome. I love it. Exactly what I needed. Anybody running both batti and vistahide?
