Backlight control today plug-in?
I know there are a lot out there, even some free ones, but they're bundled with all this other stuff I don't want. I just want an easy way to change my backlight strength instead of having to go to settings and blahblahblah.
I've had HTC Home Customizer and Spb stuff too, but now I have my today screen almost exactly how I want it. Date Spb Phone Suite + Pic contacts HTC audio manager today plugin Device lock But the only thing it's really missing is a way to mess with the backlight. I live in south Texas and all day it's extremely bright, and when I'm in my room the lights usually off so I'm always having to change it to save battery or to actually be able to see the screen. |

Re: Backlight control today plug-in?
Ok I've been using Metrix for a while now. I really liked the 1.0 version, very customizable, but I switched to the 2.0 text only version.
But I've been getting a huge memory leak though. In a few hours of just texting I went down to 4mb. Seriously WTF? I loved the HTC home but the reason I took it off was cause of the memory leak, and like this I might as well just put it back on. All I have is Date Spb Phone Suite Metrix (off now) Music plug in And lock. I had Phone Suite off cause I thought it was that, but still hit 4.x MB RAM. I'm testing Metrix off... If it's not that I have no idea. I had DCD's rom before but it was slowing down a lot so now I have No2Chems. It's great but whats with the smaller text? The 0s are all pointy. I'm gonna enlarge them with SKtools later. |

This doesn't help when you are in actually in Contacts or the dialer, etc, so I used AEBPlus to assign a single click of the camera button to "Backlight Up", so I can quickly raise the backlight with a couple of thumb presses. I can still start the camera in a single button press from the WAD desktop when needed. |
