Google Search Today Screen Plug in Now Available
 

I just downloaded it for my HTC Touch and it works great.

Over at the Google Blog, the fine folks at Microsoft's latest arch-enemy have created a simple today screen plug in (should work fine on both Standard and Pro) to initiate a Google Search.

That download didnt work on my touch. All I got was the folder, no app or plug in. Google maps has been working for awhile so maybe the server has a temp problem with the download?

how does this look as a today screen plugin? or is this just a standalone app? i thought this was referring to the search bar...

It looks like the Windows Live plugin except it says Google search.
I had the Windows Live plugin for a long time , but I like the new
Google plugin alot better. It seems faster.

I recently downloaded the goolge search home screen plugin for my touch but when i try to use it i get an error "cannot be opened either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found" I already tried reinstalling and soft reset and cannot get it to work. Any ideas please?
