Webcam on mogul??

I know there is software (mobiola, etc.) that will allow my mogul to be used as a webcam but what I want to know is how can I use my mogul as a webcam without a pc??? ie is there a software or adapter that will allow me to use my creative webcam through my mogul.....so the mogul acts as the pc......when I travel I now only take my mogul but I webcam with my children alot!! If i purchase a webcam, install the software to the mogul then have a usb adapter to plug the webcam in the mogul, will it work as on a traditional pc?? I use yahoo. Can anyone tell me if this works??? I have searched endlessly through theses forums but to no avail. PLEASE HELP!!!! I MISS MY KIDS!!!

I don't think HTC has released coding for developers on the camera so you are very unlikely to see and 3rd party camera or webcam software like Coolcamera for the PPC-6700.

have you looked at http://www.comvu.com/

basically turns your phone into a webcam without pc client software, all you have to do is install the program on the phone. it streams the video from your phone built-in cam to a webpage.

I've been using PocketCaster (comvu.com) for about a year now. It's very easy and very cool. You can even archive your webcasts.

Definitely worth a look.

No sebo, I haven't tried that yet but I'll check it out the problem is if I have the camera on the phone pointed at me so my children can see me, I can't see the screen on my phone to see them. I figured an outside webcam might work....with an adapter for the cable but as the previous person pointed out, it may not support the software.

Varaff, as funny as that sounds it may be the only thing that works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm checking out comvu right now, but I run mobile 6, their only options are for 5, think that will be a conflict??
