UPX and WP?
 

i Hard reset my 700wx last night and reinstalled all my goodies including WP i UPXed most of the 3rd party apps and everything seems to be working... but WP lost my icons? i upxed GifDecoder and the couple of DLLs. Is anyone else that has UPXed WP having ne trouble with the icons showing up? i lost the icon and Radar stuff the rest is fully functional

You cannot UPX WeatherPanel.DLL - this will cause you to lose your icons.

damn i knew u were gonna say that!!! is there any way to get it back? can you post the dll so i can copy it back over?

I had the same problem. I would get a message that WP was looking for information on my data card blah, blah, blah. Which dll exactly are you looking for?

i did 2 upx runs one after another i upxed everything on the device in run 1 and everything on my SD in run 2... one after another not paying attention i overroad the backup :oops:

***update... i extracted the dll from the cab and it didnt fix it? trying to unistall and reinstall and see if that fixes it
