Uhmm we don't have many WA users around here. I think there's an option for it, I just can't remember.

Have you explored all the options on the app? Or checked the manual/site?

I thought I had but I'll go back and check again, is there a reason not many people use wisebar around here?

Actually;
to be a little clearer to other people (if they need it)

Goto button assignements, and under the start button options, look for CascStartMenu
And that will do it.

Right, the issue I was having was I was looking in the WA button assignment program and not the default button assignment program of the phone so to be even more clearer...if you are usign WA and want your start button on your phone to be linked with the cascading menu instead of default do as follows:

Start>Settings>Personal>Buttons>For the button you have Start Menu and for assignment change is to Casc Start Menu
